9/11 Anniversary

The PR people at the Ft. Lauderdale Airport are getting to know me well. I've shot security stories several times since I started down here.
For the five year anniversary of 9/11 they're putting some special section together. I was shooting air/seaport security photos for El Sentinel and Sun-Sentinel can use 'em too.
It's incredible how tight things are now compared to 5 years ago. I used to drive straight through Port Everglades to get to the beach during high school, no questions asked. But now there are intense checkpoints and scary customs agents everywhere. Going through the airport feels like a military checkpoint. I suppose if its keeping us safe its worth the hassle.
